Missing merchant

If my memory serves me well, there is a merchant in trademeet with some nice items for sale.
A belt that protects agains missile and magic damage, and a cloack with some nice ability's (he could be selling more items, but i dont remember, been years since my last Baldur's Gate II game)

But i cannot find this merchant anywhere, where exactly is he located.
I though he was at the "market".

Trademeet Merchant (Spoiler)

I seem to recall there being a merchant in the Crypt area. You need a key to get in there though. He has the Belt of Inertia that you are referring to.

Nope, he was at the marketplace (a path with lot's of different vendor's) but he is only there at daytime.
And apearantly 7pm isn't daytime.

My mistake.
