Question regarding stacking CE

So I'm curious about what constant effects to use, and I had a thought.... If I make an item with CE invisibility, will I still be invisible if I remove the item? I've heard about the bound item glitch and such, and was wondering what happens with CE items when you remove them; are the effects supposed to stop (not counting bugs/glitches)?

If you have a CE invisibility ring, it will stop working as soon as you interact with something so you have to remove it and then put it back on again to go invisible again. If you remove any CE item, the effects disappear too til you wear them again. The only bug/glitch I know of is the bound items one.

Yeah, invis wasn't really the point, I could have as easily used levitate (which would have been a better example). But since the effect should stop when you remove the item, I can go forward.
