is there a cheat I can use in BG2?help

How do I activate the cheat mode in BG2, I need to get through I door that is locked. Since I can't get out of the unseeing eye dungeion I need to get through the door with the rod. But the door is locked and I think it is a bug in the game so I need to know is there is some kind of cheat I can use to get through that door.
