i read somewere that u can buy a shop when u get to expert mercatil can some1 tell me how it works??

NO; you can invest a shop not buy it.

Shop owners have a max. gold amount wich is based on their products range and mercantile skill. 600-800-1200 etc. So if you have something that is more worth then the owners max. gold amount he can offer you only all he have and thats of course 600-800-1200 etc.

This means normaly you can sell a ebony cuircass for more then 2000 gold (relating on your mercantile skill and haggle). But none of the shop owners has that much gold.

Thats were invensting comes in. You can loan him gold, that makes his capital money amount higher (fund is higher). And for this reason can sell him the goods for more then 600-800-1200 etc.

But I'm not expert yet and never tried it. :p
