When you are assigning your skill points during character creation what is the long bow counted as, single-weapon or two-handed weapon?
I can see a reason for it being both.

None...
the 2handed-, singleweapon style only count for melee weapons only.
But don't worry bows get both a bonus from the bow itself, and the arrow it fires. This gives a bonus equal or more then most melee-weapons.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Nothing, I used to wonder this myself. Word of advice, take Short Bows instead. If you want a style, specialize in a Melee weapon and then choose a style for it.
