A bug with Unseeing Eye please help me!!!

I discovered the second part of the rod and then I saved the game. After a few seconds, I come back from the place and the Unseeing Eye appears and kills one of my character. I just reload to start a new try and then It doesn't even reappear!!! What can I do???

It appears to be a bug where if you save after getting the second part of the rod and before meeting the Unseeing Eye,it won't show up(happened to me as well,and my last save before was at the start of his lair.Doh!).Other than this I'm not sure why it wouldn't appear.

There is another recent thread dealing with this problem as well

I don't have any other save before that ( I mean I am very far from this place in my other saves...). Will it do ok if I continue the game like that?

Did you check your auto-save?

Yes, you can continue the game. Simply go back to Gaal and his followers. Attack them, and the UE will appear behind them. Don't miss the Heavy Crossbow of Accuracy on one of the bodyguards.

Thanks for pointing that out since I just reloaded whenever that UE didn't turn up
