Viekang's death trademeet

Post by Detrius »

Ok I'm new to this but I don't have a clue at what I'm supposed to do bout this situation thats come up. When I go in to Vyatri's Pub in Trademeet a guy called Viekang starts yelling about "oh no it's the child of Bhaal" and then a lightning bolt descends renders him unconcious and he gets teleported away. This happens no matter what I say to him. I've played through the quest and nothing elseis mentioned of him. Anyone got any thoughts on what I should be doing?

If you talk to him with some else besides your self (Minsc) and stay back yourself he will talk to you. No quest that I know of .

Just an added event for suspense. No real importance. Yet...

Do u mean it could come up in BGIII? That'd be something new, but wouldn't it exclude people who haven't played BGII from buying III. I know this game makes more sense as a story if you've played the other but there were no quests that have carried over, (to my limited kowledge anyway).
