Contingency/Spelltrigger help/glitch

I am a high level sorcerer withought ToB, and whenever I cast contingency, chain contingency, or spell trigger it only gives me the option of level 1 spells is this a known glitch and is there any way I can fix it?

I thought ToB fixed stuff!

I just got ToB in the mail today, installed it, created a new game, and used cheats to level up and it won't let me cast spells higher then 6th level what the heck is wrong with my computer?

um, im not sure if your game is glitched or not, but you change the spell levels with the <plus> <minus> buttons above the spell list

I have never had a bug like this personally...

Have you downloaded the most recent official patch and the Baldurdash patch? I know this is asked a lot around here in response to questions, but they do help to fix quite a number of bugs.

Other than that, I really have no suggestions, other than seeing if you can get some help from Bioware...

IIRC, when the screen appears for setting your Spell Trigger or Contingency, it shows a list of spells available. However, it only displays one level of spells at a time. Somewhere on that screen is a little arrow (or pair of them). The arrow allows you to scroll over the next level (or back to a lower level). Have you attempted using it (them)?

well, yeah, of course I have, I'd be an idiot not to notice the blaring +/- signs, but now it seems to be working, although level 9 spells are still blocked off from chain contingency...

Contingency depends on one's level, the high the level of the character the higher the level of protections that can be used in the contingency.
