Half Life 2: Episode one. Your thoughts.
I've recently installed this game. I think it is very good, like any half life game but it is suprisingly short. I am looking fowards to the next installment in the half life series and I was wandering what people here think of it.

Played Half-Life 2: Episode One and finished it. Found it quite good albeit short. Also, the expansion pack didn't fully explain the events that occured in Half-Life 2 as what most reviews have said and I agree with this. Oh well, looks like we'll have to wait for Episodes Two and Three to see how the story unfolds.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

i enjoyed episode one much more than hl2, dunno why really but i found it more appealing somehow. It was a bit short but i didn't expect too much either since i knew from the start that i was gonna be short. The place where "you" was supposed to wait for the elevator got me scared quite alot actually. I havn't been that scared since the first monsters of doom 3.
Waiting for the next episodes

I've seen both of the Half-Life 2: Episode 2 trailers. The second one is basically the extended version so its just a few unseen sections and nothing much.
