Expansion
you know how doom3 and halo2 have expansions to the game . what if kotor2had that where the locked places have been opened.even the droid faciltiy and maybe even be able to explore the tombs. this will also be conncvted to the first espacailly in naga sadows tomb. this expansion may even put new levels so you can level up more

You've read my mind, Chrishalomaster. I was thinking of an expansion pack for KOTOR 2 too since there's lots of content cut from the game. However, given that its been over a year after KOTOR 2 was released, the idea of an expansion pack might not sound feasible, in my opinion.
well halo2s came almst 1 1/2 years after and doom3 came out 3 days after the release, but ive known games to release expansions 4 years after the release.so maybe and hopefully they will come out with one
Erm..I think those are more to sequels than expansions. Usually, expansions of a game are released within one year after the first game (because they're just expanding on the first game). As for sequels, it takes way longer than that due to the fact that they're creating a totally new game compared to the original, in my opinion. Their development period measure from 1 1/2 years to somewhere 4 years maximum. Sometimes, it could take way longer than that like Half-Life 2's development period of 6 years as an example.

Okay. You've got a point here. I take back what I said previously. But still, I don't think it will sit well with those who've played KOTOR 2. Its just too little, too late. Wished that Lucasarts haven't rushed the game.
well lucas arts is now working with ILM . i saw footage of a new kotor they may make . it was on G4 tech tv this morning.

I've said this many times already at different threads that the video is NOT KOTOR 3. Its a tech demo by Lucasarts to demonstrate Pixelux's Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) system and Euphoria's Biomechanical AI. Period.
EDIT: Forgot to add some sentences.
no but he interview even said that they may go make the rewst of kotor 3 without biowares engine.
The interview on G4tv, is it? Well, I've read IGN's interview about that tech demo and I don't recall them ever mentioning a KOTOR 3 there. All they said is that they have plans to turn that tech demo into a game.
