I read at gamefaqs that there is a ebony scimitar, but i cannot find one in the game? I also would like to know if there is a weapon better than Trueflame or Hopesfire, in terms of damage? I love those weapons but i would like to enchant one even stronger that those 2, i accept suggestions.

well i found the ebony scimitar, it seems it's the high ordinator swords. I've been doing some experiments and i discover that you can make a weapon as good as the dai katana with the scimitar. I put fire damage and shock damage in the scimitar and it was awesome, but i don't know if it's better than the dai katana you made.
My Personal Favorite has always been a Daedric Dai-Katana enchanted with fire damage.Great attack speed and nice damage, combined with elemental.
TrueFlame and Hopesfire are too slow..but yeah they do considerable damage.I still cut trough mobs with my homemade sword better though.
That's exactly what I have. I have a Daedric Dai-Katana with 45-70 fire damage. It is really good for killing.

Enchant weapons with Absorb Health.
It's harder to resist the spell unlike Fire Damage, it damages and it heals the wielder's health with each attack.
It's also quite easy to get massive levels worth of Absorb Health too.

However, it doesn't affect Daedra or Undead. I usually go for Absorb health/elemental damage on a Dai-Katana for self enchanting. I tend towards using Hopesfire, as it is a good sword that Lights the area around you...

Well I just made a weapon far better than hopesfire and trueflame and the enchanted dai katana. I enchant a Ebony Scimitar with absorb health 100 and shock attack 15 to 16. Never tried it with daedras and undead, but in case of difficult i just use hopesfire or trueflame or the dai katana witch never leave my inventory.

Using stacked Fortify Intelligence potions, I suppose?

I mean that if you drink a Fortify Intelligence potion, then make another quickly (because Intelligence determines the effectiveness of alchemy), then drink it, and keep doing this, you'lll have an amazing Intelligence in a short while--and since Intelligence also determines Enchanting skill, you can achieve a godlike enchantment. It wrecks the game, IMO, because there are no challenges left.

thz for the advice, but usually i try do get the maximum of each game, doing a misture of powergaming with roleplaying
. I used to have the best armor weapons possible, but the game had no challenge that way, so now i use the good looking armors(royal guard
) without caring for defense
and a good looking sword. So far i'm enjoing bloodmoon. i'm going to start to look for the stones without using the walkthrough. And then i'll start a new game or add new mods. But the sword i made is just awesome, i name it Luthien's Fury, but i just use it when the enemies are to close, I'm using the daedric bow with silver arrows.

I did that once. Made a daikatana that ran out of charge after about 10 hits... That was with a golden saint soul...
