Oblivion for PC Problem

I just got oblivon for the pc and everything comes up fine but i start a new game and when i edit my caracter the only thing there is the edit window where you change everythin,and the back ground and everything els is white(where you can see youy caracter* and the prison)and when i click done it loads and everythin is white still ,except the tooldbar thing at the bottom where it shows yo/ur health,magicka the compass and all that stuff..i can also here the dark elf talk in the other cell so i know im in the prison.

it sounds like your graphics card isnt 2.0 shader compatible, and consequently doesnt meet the minimum video requirements for the game.

if your card is one of these, i suggest you download the latest drivers for it.

if it isnt, then i suggest you head over to oldblivion, download the latest version, read the faq and enjoy the game in *almost* all of its glory.

oldblivion is a wonderful program which enables the game to run on 1.0 shader compatible cards without too much loss of visual quality.
