I pickpocketed a Exotic pelt off some beggar in the Bridge district. Anyone know what this is for?

It's for the quest regarding the murders in the Bridge District. I guess you just saved yourself some 100 goldcoins (yes, I know it's highest you can offer him, but I always play a good guy
