I dont know if im doing something wrong or not...But I tried doing the thing where you buy all 44 emeralds from the Oakvale General store then sell them back to him for a profit...Well..Im actually losing money...Anyone help me?
Im clicking the "Buy All","Sell All" and stuff like that..And my Guile or whatever is 5 I believe...Does it have to be 7?
I also tried the buying Potions from the general store to make a profit by selling it back to him...I still ended up losing money..And Orvilechildrenb (The person who made the guide ---> http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/fable ... 66377.html) says you only need 3+ Guile..And I have 5 and I still made no profit...
Im not 100% good...But I am on the good side. On a scale of 1 to 10...5 being Neutral on the scale of good/bad im about a 7 I would have to say...And i'll see if raising my Guile works..Ill also take some other ppl's oppinions...
What Lightdude said is quite correct but it also depends on which shop you go to. In some places, you can't buy and sell emeralds for a profit. In Oakvale, you can but as what Lightdude has mentioned, you need a pretty high guile to pull it off.

Can't remember what level my guile was but I recall that it was at level 6 or 7 then I can sell emeralds for a profit.

i rememberd going to drago shop in bowerstone northe with a guile of 3 and doing the same procedure with health potions.. it work just fine...
A guile fomr 3 or higher should do the trick
Try using will potions first. That one will guarantee a profit. Works for me because at the beginning of the game, I had a guile of somewhere around 3 to 5 and I manage to buy and sell will potions for a profit.

I found a pretty good way to make money right now..I just buy the house in Bowerstone South for cheap then put Jack's mask on the trophy case then sell it for more money...Then break down the door and take the mask back and repeat.
