what's deal about "the hidden"?? (SPOILER)

I'm talking about the guy appears in the copper coronet sewer in Jan's quest. When I cleaned out the mind flayer area in the temple district sewer, I think they mentioned "the hidden" too. Is there anymore quest related to him?

None that I know of, might have been planned by the producers, but never created.

The MF area under Atkhala explains what Jan tells about Uncle Gerhard, for one thing, and "the Hidden" warns you to be ready, introduces you with MF. Otherwise you wouldn't know about their presence in the area. (Githyanki hunting the Hidden introduces you with Githyanki race you'll surely meet latter). No more consequences, at least i'm aware about.
