HOTU: Valsharess's throne room (probable spoilers)
When I appeared in the Valsharess's throne room my dexterity suddenly fell from 21 to 3, so I couldn't even move. I didn't get any messages and I couldnt find any enhancements or objects with such effect on me. After betraying the Seer and rebels and accepting Valsharess's offer I appeared on the battlefield, where I couldn't do anything except issuing commands to soldiers who are near enough. Is this a glitch, part of the game, or some complicated thing that has something to do with the AD&D rules?
I belive you have encountered a bug. If your game isn't patched lately, I'd recommend that as first course of action.
Secondly - do you have any items which gives a Dexterity benefit/bonus? Then equipping one of them might help reset your stats, but other then this I have no real suggestions, sorry

After patching, if the problem perists, you could try to unequip all items prior to the "throne room" and then re-equip them afterwards to see if the problem could be solved that way. But I am not sure it'll do much though as I've never experienced this myself.urmas wrote:OK, thanks, I'll try to find a patch or some way around the bug.
I already wear bracelets that give me a +4 dex bonus, but they are no help, even when I drink a potion, my dexterity is far too low to move.![]()

It worked! Thanks a lot. The funny thing is that my dexterity still dropped when I was talking to Valsharess, so it is probably some sort of device to keep the character from moving during that specific dialogue. But when I removed my characters equipment before talking to Valsharess, everything turned to normal in the next scene.Xandax wrote:After patching, if the problem perists, you could try to unequip all items prior to the "throne room" and then re-equip them afterwards to see if the problem could be solved that way.
