i have attached hannah the thief to my party.
however when she gets the xps to level up, i go to her profile and try to level her up. then the game halts and does not respond anymore.
i have just upgraded to version 1.1 to try to solve the problem, but the issue continues.
is there a way out of this?
i cant level hannah up (game halts)

There are a few things you could try.
To begin with, try applying the unofficial fanpatch:
Planescape-Torment.Org
Put the long list of files into your Torment\override folder.
(I doubt this will work though)
Here is what you should try next:

Go to the Torment folder, and backup your save folder somewhere else on your hard drive (important).
Uninstall the game (and manually delete the Torment folder if anything is still in there). Install again.
Move the backup save folder into the Torment folder.
Start the game, load the save and try leveling up again.

There might have been some data corruption.
Also, do you have an auto-save or another savegame besides the one you've been using? If so, try loading that up and getting Annah to level-up to see if the problem persists.
