Unanswered questions in KOTOR(Spoilers)

Post by Sinbios »

I am sorry if these questions have been answered :)

1. Why is Malak missing his jaw?

2. What has Malak done turning Bastila from a loyal lightsider to an evil darksider? It sounds strange for Bastila, who yells everytime i get my nasty darkside points, to turn to an evil within such a short time? (She acts like an idiot more than she does when she was a jedi :P )

3. Where are the Jedi Masters after the last battle? I remember Vrook survived in Kotor2, wasnt Dantooine completely destroyed by Malak?

Though KOTOR1 is more complete than KOTOR2, I find the ending quite rushed :(

Hi Sinibos. Welcome to the forums. :)

Must have lost it in a certain battle.

Through pure torture. If you see the way Malak tortured her, you'll understand.

Spoilers, please highlight:
Spoiler
The other masters like Master Vandar will make an appearance in KOTOR 2 depending on what you set Revan as at the very beginning of KOTOR 2.

Really?? The ending looks good and suitable to me (especially the good side since I only played LS on my first run and never touched it again)

There is loads of information in the game which points to this and even some in KOTOR2.

Basically Bastila was a young(-ish) padawan with an incredible strong power (Battle Meditation). Furthermore - she was emotional.
It is said in the game that such situations often make Jedi's arrogant, which was very true for Bastila in the majority of KOTOR1
Thus it isn't difficult to understand why she'd be (relative) easy to turn to - or rather be seduced by - the Dark Side through the torture.

Well, some of the Masters were no doubt killed by the bombing of the Enclave on Dantooine. But then again some of the Masters were killed on Katarr when it was
destroyed by the power of Darth Nihilus.

DesR85,Master Vandar makes an appearance only one time for both Dark and Lightsiders. He shows up in a hologram though. If you have played Dark Side in KOTOR 1, a cutscene near the end of the game shows the Republic Warship carrying Master Vandar being blown up by the Sith. He may have survived though very unlikely. Also, he may have escaped in an escape pod. If he made it, he likely died on Katarr with the others.

I did'nt quote it right does anybody know why?
Here is a wise saying from Luke Skywalker, "NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!" And that was a word from Luke. Have a nice day! :)

That could be possible though the game didn't give a clear indication as to whether Master Vandar is alive or not (be it LS or DS). I just wish they (Obsidian) could have explained clearly what happened to Master Vandar after the events of KOTOR 1.

That's because you forgot to end the quote with the [/quote] command.
