Oblivion GOTY?
Does anyone know if there will be a GOTY for oblivion? because it did win...
"Of humble birth, he entered the Emperor's service in the lowly status of courier. Dispatched to Balmora in the waning years of the Third Era, he arrived in Morrowind, ignorant of the role he was to play in that nation's history."
Eh....doesn't that depend on if Oblivion really becomes the Game of the Year....as the year isn't over yet, nobody really knows. Besides, I loved the Morrowind Game of the Year Edition with all the Addons. If Bethesda releases a GOTY with their little extras included, I don't mind...
The more money they make, the more money they have for their future games....

they need expansions, just because the game is so awsome, I could play for like 3 weeks straight and not get bored.

Now, Xan, surely you're not implying that software companies intentionally manufacture large amounts of mediocre products to generate profits?Xandax wrote:.... and the more money they can save by keep making sub-par games which sell very well
TB - in a word: Definately.
I sincerely wish we could re-consider this plan from a perspective that involved pants.
No, of course notTower_Master wrote:Now, Xan, surely you're not implying that software companies intentionally manufacture large amounts of mediocre products to generate profits?

Anyways, as I said - I'm all but sure that we'll see either a GOTY edition, or a Gold edition and a Platinum edition, so there'll be plenty editions for people to buy once more stuff gets released.
I'd also be flabbergasted if we dont' see at least one or two expansions

I saw a collector edition at the county fair yesterday...but I doubt that it was the equivalent to a GOTY.
