Problem with a side quest

Hi, I have a little problem with "A bounty for the hunter"... I accidently hit Arthur, the guy at the shop... and know he's scared of me and he doesn't want to talk to me anymore. Can someone tell me what I have to do to make him talk? Please response!!

Load a previous saved game.
