Need help with Jailhouse

Need help with Jailhouse

Im trying to start the pre-initial quest for rogue line quest, but Derlinger in jailhouse won't ask me for 200g, there's no option for me to select when i talk to him in jail. Is it a bug? how to fix it, thanks! I also talk to the jailkeeper, and theres no option for me to pay for the 200g to free Derlinger either.

If I remember correctly, you have to go to Arindale first and receive the quest from Lord Galebriand to go find the Argalia, thus entering the "second" part of the game. Then you'll get the option to free the prisoner.

You should be able to free Derlinger right away. If you've exhausted all conversation options with him, and if you don't get a dialogue option about his bail, then it's probably a bug.

(You have patched your game, right?)
