how do you getr into the game editor to change the setting to get out through the west gate. can anyone help also have gone to the shrine and I can not put the candle there when I hit the sp. key will not set the candle just says needs item.

You cannot use the editor to get out of Fargrove, it can only be used to change locations while somewhere on the outside.
The shrine to place the candle is outside fargrove, NW of the west gate.
If you can leave Fargrove, but you're stuck because the west gate won't go up, then I think you can use the editor to move yourself past the gate.
