Does anyone have a good site that details the FR history?

You know, the gods, lands, hero's, etc...

I would like to learn more about the world I am traveling in ;)

No, but a good book for something like $40, the Forgotten Realms Campain setting. It's much bigger than you would ever be able to get into a website.
That seems to point up a significant difference between Europeans and Americans. A European says: "I can't understand this, what's wrong with me?" An American says: "I can't understand this, what's wrong with him?"

I reckon that Stonehege was build by the contemporary equivalent of Microsoft, whereas Avebury was definitely an Apple circle.
