Saturas, good, bad and ugly

Post by Lady Dragonfly »

This is weird, really. You can find Saturas dead body in one of a caves in the Old World, with all stuff you gave him (a ring fragment, letter from Vatras etc) while a very much alive Saturas remains in Add-on World.

I think I have a solution to this mystery. Hear ye, inhabitants of this forum:

The real Saturas was killed in a hit-n-run accident by the unfamous mighty alien dwarf who was recklessly driving (under swamp-weed influence) a red car without a proper ID and proof of insurance. The dwarf hid the broken car on the high mountain plato above the scholars' mansion (nobody would climb over there, even militia, right?) and the dead body in a cave with rats and skeletons (to shift the blame, of course). Then the burly dwarf paid a visit to a nearby shrine to consult his lawyer Beliar and was ultimately referred to Xardas the necromancer, a sought-after plastic surgeon. There, on the upper floor of Xardax Tower, in the center of a pentagram, another surgical miracle occured, the best gold pieces can buy. The ugly alien dwarf turned into a decent looking human being. Saturas, to be precise, according to his new false ID provided by Canthar the influential merchant.

I rest my case.

Actually all the NPCs can be found in the cave on the otherside of the Orc Wall and the sign from the Dwarf.
There are many reasons why NPCs end up there but the main one is due to an NPC leaving the map another is if they die.
If you go back at chapter 5 there will be many bodies there, iir. :D
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
