One known chests that contains a chance to get Deathlord equipment can be found in the Shack found south-west of Sagathian Moors...which is the Western piece of land of the continent of the Forbidden Lands. You have to have 1.5CE version (and maybe version 1.4) to get it. It entails taking on a quests to take on Mog and Mogs crew of ruffians (fairly tough battle...and was quite interesting to take on unique characters...I wish the rest of the game was about fighting unique enemies...but, I digress).
If you don't have this version, then I guess your S.O.L.
Anyways, I thought I'd mention this even if this is not in your version of DL.

I believe in version 1.5CE that chests only contains jewelery or rings. I usually try to get the "Necklace of Fiends" (a band that gives +8 to Armor) ...which is very awesome.Tiefling wrote:...in the chests in Arindale where you can find the Dragon roost.

I cant remember which is which, but one of the chests at the Drake Roosting Grounds gives jewelry (specifically Ring of Ruin, Ring of the Void, The Wintering Ring, Band of the Serpent, Cerberus Band, Fang and Claw, Skull of the Fiend, Talisman of Night (which is the better of the two btw), Ward of the Grave, and Ward of the Serpent), and the other gives armor (from what I can remember, the Dragon Helm, Griffon Shield, Dragon Shield, all or most of the Deathlord Armor, and some other stuff).
I hope this helps. (btw the list for the jewelry chest is exact. that's what it can give, and nothing else, though I'm playing 1.4, so I don't know if some of it was taken out from 1.4 to 1.5CE)

Hmm, I usually only come across one treasure chests while in 1.5CE. I do remember when I was briefly playing version 1.3, that I was able to get dragon armor from a chest, and for some strange reason I keep thinking that there were 2 chests in the dragoon roost area for version 1.3. For some reason when I go to get the dragon egg in version 1.5CE...I don't think too much about finding another chests...as I try to hi-tail it out of there before being burnt alive (running out of the three or so fire wards that I bought from the Celestial building in Arindale). I suppose I'll have to check again to see if there is more than that one chests with jewelry in it.SSJ3Kirby500 wrote:I cant remember which is which, but one of the chests at the Drake Roosting Grounds gives jewelry (specifically Ring of Ruin, Ring of the Void, The Wintering Ring, Band of the Serpent, Cerberus Band, Fang and Claw, Skull of the Fiend, Talisman of Night (which is the better of the two btw), Ward of the Grave, and Ward of the Serpent), and the other gives armor (from what I can remember, the Dragon Helm, Griffon Shield, Dragon Shield, all or most of the Deathlord Armor, and some other stuff).

By the way, SSJ3Kirby500, the jewelry list looks accurate to me as I'm using 1.5CE. Although, I'm sure that the Skull of Fiends (+8ARmor) is the best of all jewelry in this game. As the Talisman of Night gives something like (+5Parry and +XXX% speed). If you were making a comment about the bat-like talisman/charms of night....there are at least three of them...(+2Parry, 50Speed...found in rogue shops, in many chests), (+3Parry...dropped by the vampiress in Fargroves poor section of town), (+5Parry, +200?Speed...found in that chest in the Firedrake roost)...and yes that bat-jewelry is the best of all its forms.
The skull of fiends (+8Armor) gives bonus to armor...which you can't normally do by adding points to your stats like you could with Parry mods found on things like the Talisman of Night (+5Parry). And the +XXXSpeed bonus mods from items become useless when you raise your Agility up to 80+.
Anyways, I guess I'll have to check the roosting grounds again for that chests with the Deathlord armor, and/or other fancy equipment that might be within it.
