Traya (possible spoiler)

Post by Sweethart Rose »

I have consular type player. I don't have/ can't equip Item that make you immune to fear/stun/ horror. Have any idea how I can kill her?
This is second time around. The first time round I was able defeat her with no problem. But I have item.

Force Wave. If you are a consular type your Force Powers should be strong enough to just cut through her.
And when she summons the 3 blades, then run a bit back so you do not have all 4 hitting you at the same time.

If you ahve any damaging Force Powers (even Throw Lightsaber) you can sometimes get her stuck behind a pillar such that she just stands there and you can attack her without her reacting. That was how I won the game first time...

Force powers work wonders for Consulars. Tell me if your Light side or Dark and I can help you better . :)

Hmm - Strange. Force Wave will damage even if resisted.
But as consular, my ForceWave was usually strong enough to knock her down 80% of the time, although she wasn't stunned or anything - she was knocked around and had to get up all the time and thus could not hurt me.

But you found a strategy which worked for you - so congratulations with that, that is one thing games are about :)

On Light side, maybe use Force Wave, Throw Lightsaber, Force Alignment, Stasis Field, alot of other Force powers can be used to boost certain areas of your performance. :)

Would throwing your lightsaber be good for that part?

Never tried this before when I fought Kreia/Traya but seeing that whenever I hit her, I always miss due to her high dexterity so throwing a lightsaber might not have that much of an impact. If I recall correctly, how I defeat Kreia/Traya is to (Spoilers, please highlight)
Spoiler
wear a Jal Shey mentor belt with +20 Force Resistance, buff myself with powers like Force Enlightenment, Force Speed and most of the Force powers that I could get my hands on and straightaway went close combat with her. As for the lightsaber part, as what some have mentioned, I ran as fast as I can until the floating lightsabers were separated, then I take them on one by one.

I wonder if it could just be that since she usually saves against them, most Force Powers don't do enough damage to show up on Kreia's health bar immediately? She has a VERY high health level, so 20 points or so may not be obvious, and if your WIS and CHA aren't boosted sky high you may not even notice the damage till you've hit her a few times.

my force powers didn't affect her much even with my extremely boosted wis. i stuck to casting all the buffs i could and just hammering with my dual lightsabers. i used healing packs in the inventory instead of force heal so that she couldn't hit me while i was healing. so master speed, master aura, battle meditation and maybe a couple of other buffs and an energy shield to absorb some lightsaber damage. it took a reload or two but it worked. this was with a ls consular-weaponmaster. with a previous guardian-weaponmaster i had no problem at all.
There are no stupid questions. Only stupid people.
