last night I was reReading my Sandman collection and Just looking at it inspired me to Take the endless for a spin through BG2 But i am having some problems deciding on race/class combos for them so I am going to put down my list and ask y'all to give your thoughts.
Destiny - cool as this guy is he never takes part in anything so he is only going o watch this one
Death - Party leader, Human (she becomes human for a day ever century) class ? - i'm a bit stumped on this one she is powerful and dangerous but never overt about it, she seems to have the best understanding of the human condition of anyof them so perhaps a cleric. Alignment hmm. I would Say lawful Neutral or pehaps lawful good (she is bound by laws but she shows some compasion and leanings towards helping others)
Dreams - Lord morpheous race - not to sure elven ? Class - illusionist(illusions/dreams also beacuse illusionists are forbidden necromacy which sort of matches dreams prohibition on killing(from the dolls house)
alignment-lawful neutral Dreams is very much a bound by his role and it's prohibitions and seems neither to favour or see humans as pawns.
Desire - Race elven (desire is perfect Elves are generaly considered the most beutiful race) class swashbuckler (desire is definately a thief but a swashbuckler seems to match its flamboyant nature somwhat.)
alignment - neutral evil. it is quite able to break the prohibitions which bind it's older siblings, and most definatly sees humanity as a tool to be used.
Despair : Race (dwarven )(squat and misshapen aperence) class again not to sure her twin is desire so pehaps some sort of thief - Fighter/thief (definatly seems more physical than some of the elndless) Alignment. neutral evil (same reason as Desire.
Destruction : Race Hlf Orc - simply beacause they are physicaly the strongest and this fits destruction. Class Beserker (definatly some form of fighter, he wears that plate mail when we see him before he abdictes) and beserker fits destuction. Alignment - difficult but chaotic neutal probably he breaks the laws of the endless when he leaves yet he does not seem particuarly to favour good or evil.
Delerium. - (who used to be delight) : Race half elven (she lookes damn cute yet is not as compelling as desire), Class - Jester (she is delerium darn it - confusion is her trade mark) alignment Chaotic neutral (she has to be chaotic but seems not to be decied as to good or evil.)
anyway these are just my thoughts - I would apreciate any comments.

The Endless in BG2
They say to truly understand reality one must learn to think in Seven Dimensions
Understand there is no chaos - Only a pattern to large for your mind to grasp

Despair - you could use ShadowKeeper to give her(?) the 'Fat Man' avatar. I'm trying to remember if there is a more appropriate monster icon for her - some big fat grey thing??
Delirium should surely be a wild mage. I seem to recall that she does weird and unexpected things all the time, which would fit, as would making people dizzy or suddenly the wrong gender.
Death surely should be a Necromancer/Thief. Death magic, and no door can bar her way. Then she could have Death-of-rats as her familiar.. oops, sorry, wrong Death
Desire should be an enchanter - lost of charm and domination spells!
Destruction - no idea. Does he actually appear in the books? I recall references to him at the start of 'Season of Mists' and 'The Wake', but as I've only read those two and the first TPB, I have no idea of how he is represented.
