Xan - Wraithform - Error

I just rescued Xan from the Nashkell mines. He is lvl 6 and can cast wraithform(already in his grimoire). Funny thing is that wraithform is a lvl 1 wizard spell for him. I let him memorize it and rested but though the spell icon is under his castable spells the spell is not casted. I have the 6 disc version and TosC installed (V 1.3.5511). I tried removing him from my group and joining again but that had no effect. Has this happend to anyone else ? Does someone know a way to fix this ? Thanks in advance

Since Xan had the spell in his grimoire when I rescued him, I cheated him a wraithform scroll. He could scribe it in his grimoire and has the spell now as a first and third level spell. Only the third level version works at all. So the problem is kinda solved.

The wraithform spell is really good . Xan not beeing able to cast magic missle or fireball is now a decent melee fighter with his moonblade.

... I just picked him up and he doesn't have that spell in his book. i don't even recall seeing that spell anywhere...
