the title says it all... which sword is better?

Well, for damage output I'd go with Warblade. No doubt about that. However, the Silver Sword does have a 25% of a vorpal blade. So, if you have any way of making your character hit faster (such as through whirlwind or improved haste) I'd suggest the Silver Sword.

I am pretty sure that the Boots of Speed only increase your walking speed and not your melee speed. You would need a potion/spell of haste or something else to increase your melee speed.
