if your playing the xbox verion of the game is there anyway to buy pets and or horses?

you can also buy a scrib in mournhold, probably the same guy as the rat seller i think hes standing in the bazaar near the 6 shops or so with the stage in the middle of them. im not sure but can you buy guars off of the guy that wants you to find his missing guars?
