Spoiler-Constant Effect Enchanting

Post by TheFallOfTroy10 »

I've been trying to get some constant effect items for strength, speed etc and I can't find any, so where would some locations be for that? And also how do I make them. I've been trying to for a while. I just gave up and waited for help on here. Anyways please explain.

well assuming your enchant level isnt very high you should go to a mage in one of the mages guilds, some of them can enchant items, correct me if im wrong, but i think you need a fortify strength spell before you can enchant an item with strength...im not sure if you need a soul gem if someone else is enchanting it tho...

Try your local Tribunal Temple or Imperial Cult representatives.

Any fortify attribute spell will work for making a constant strength item. So the spell you have is fine.

You need:
1/ your spell
2/ a grand soul gem with the soul of a golden saint or ascended sleeper
3/ an item with a high enchant capacity
4/ an enchanter, and lots of cash with which to pay her

If you want a pair of Boots with a constant Speed Effect of 100% go just North of Caldera and you'll come across a Trader,escort her to Gnarr Mok, She'll give the Boots or just Kill her, your choice. :)

if you have azuras star trap a golden saint or any other good monster like that(if you dont know which ones are good for enchanting just ask) but ya azuras star is the best soul gem, and it can be used infinite times, if not tho grand soul gem is best

@Kytherus

you might have wanted to mention those boots also give you 100% blind on self...you are talking about the Boots of Blinding Speed i'm assuming?

They are often random and depend on your level...
If you go into smuggler's caves at level 15+ (my experience anyway) you'll start finding grand soul gems in crates and barrels. At lower levels you generally find less powerful soul gems.

I'm wondering since this is very closley related to this thread and not worth making a new one, can I ask this question?
If you have a CE item encahnted with Fort' Strength, how does the charge get used up?

It doesn't have a charge, because it's constant. It's always on, and never needs recharging.

The management here doesn't like anything that strays from the thread owner's path, so... *sigh* Well, nevermind.

because you arent really helping him then, what if he wants to be able to see more than 1 foot ahead of him? unless ofcourse he has the royal signet ring(ask me about it somewhere else if you want to know as this thread isnt about it)

@TheFallOfTroy10

if you do like the first 5 mage guild quests in balmora you can get a bunch of already soul trapped gems if you steal them from the person(its fairly simple i dont think you need help on getting them)

im not sure, but maybe a mage sells empty soul gems? :confused:

He's already taken them, and they are no use for CE enchanting.
