1: How to initiate dialogue with my henchmen?
2: How to force open the doors&locks etc. with physical blow? I could use spells like MM to do it though.

The answer is about the same for both questions. Hold down the right mouse button while the cursor is over the object, and shortly a menu will pop up.

Actually, I heard that the manual is really shy of instructions, I get my copy pretty soon (prolly within a few hours) but meh, if worse comes to worse, I can simply look in the options menu for keyboard controls, it's how I've always done it anyways.

My manual was quite good of its type. It spent far too much time describing classes and races, far too little on spells, but did a competent job on game mechanics.
