finding the emisary issues[SPOILERS]

Post by mordib »

hey up,

I'm currently on the mission to look for the waterdeep emisary. I've killed the orc boss, met the emisary and he assured me he was on his way, my journal now tells me to go talk to the npc callum. I have done so but all he tells me is to come back when i have found the emisary. I've had a hunt around just in case he was stuck somewhere else but cannot find him again, no change on the journal.

any ideas, im completely out :p

I didn't think this part of the campaign worked very well. It left me confused, too. But on your way back to Callum, you should have had an encounter where you learned (spoiler)
Spoiler
that you rescued a fake emissary, and that you still need to find the real one with the main orc boss
(/spoiler).

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

He is in a locked room just before the exit of the Lair. I missed him too and went back to Callum and he said the same thing, so I went back blasted a door open and there he was.

Spoiler: The emissary you meet in the first orc lair isn't the real one.
