BGII mod question---graphic mods?
is there any mods for BGII that upgrade the graphics/icons/interface stuff?

There are a few mods available that change the icons used for items. There is another mod that changes the spell animations to be more like Icewind Dale.
Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a person does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses their intelligence.

Where did you find that mod? I haven't heard of that one before.Celacena wrote:there is a Goth mod that I installed - makes the portaits more 'gothic'.

I think Baldur's Goth is the mod being referred to. To quote the notes:DaemonJ wrote:Where did you find that mod? I haven't heard of that one before.
Baldur's Goth II is a mod which enhances the graphical side of Baldur's Gate, in an attempt to make the game more 'Gothy'. The first version features edited portraits and paperdolls of all NPC's, as well as a new startup screen for both SoA and ToB. Baldur's Goth II has support for Throne of Bhaal, but the expansion is not required.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Changes the inventory models back to the BG1 look - which, strangely enough, is a helluva lot better.
