lady grey

when i was playing some guy was locked up in a cage... so he wanted to get lady grey outta the city. i helped him and now i can't get the chest on the hill...
i killed thunder for a quest and i need a soul... please post back

What chest on what hill? And when did you kill Thunder? A little more info please.

In the first fight available with Thunder, you can't actually kill him, as he runs away. And if you need the soul, you can either take his or you can go to the Arena again to get the soul of a dead warrior.

I don't recall seeing a chest at Headman's Hill. What quest are you involved in?

Perhaps he is talking about the faceless Demon Door, the one activated through the last quest in courting Lady Grey, as almost all of them have a chest within them?

I vaguely understood what he said, but I'll make an attempt to answer.

I think he helped the guy in the cage before fighting Thunder, and now he can't get to the chest in the cave where you fight Thunder. My solution is this: Move on. You can't get it anymore.

In headmans hill, go to the left of the hanging thingy, and there is a chest there. Might be behind a rock. I don't recall since I haven't wondered there to often.

After you and thunder have a tumble and you beat him, the demon door opens leaving you access to the lower cave later on. And yes there is a normal chest to the right of where you go over the cliff, cant remember what was in it...

If you complete the expose quest, you cant do Lady Gray invite quest, best to beat thunder and then expose her, become mare and you get it all.....and vice versa....

Hero Save?

I was looking at this and considering what people have been saying about getting into the Demon Door and becoming Mayor, is it possible to exploit the Hero Save glitch to do this? i.e. Get the axe then Save back to beforehand and expose the Mayor? I don't know much of this Hero Save glitch i've just read about it today.

It sounds like a good idea, however most of the time the hero save exploit will not work with weapons. I might still try it.
