Flickering on reinstall

I had ran the game yesterday on a 1GB EVGA GeForce 7950GX2. using XP
highest settings no problems.

now i install vista and reinstall the game, theres issues -.-

theres some flickering when im in menus or open inventory/stats/other
the flickering is seen when i mouse back and forth the buttons in menu screens.

also the face textures on npcs flicker away to show the white blank model when i move.

i dont get what settings i need now. plz help the noob-

Is going back to XP an option? I know this probably isn't much help, but I'd wait at least 6 months to a year before upgrading Windows, just so Microsoft has time to work out all the inevitable bugs. If you're running a beta of Vista you should be commended for your adventurous spirit, but you should expect a ton of stuff not to work right (especially games).

Did you make sure to update all your video drivers after you installed Vista?
