If you choose to fight Slaan do you lose an ally later in the game say chapter 2 or 3?
Or are you recruiting as allies different Lizards in chapter 2 or 3?

I don't think Slaan has anything to do with the lizards later in the game. Or at least I've recruited the lizards after killing Slaan.

If you kill Slaan, he wont be present for the recruitment stage later in the game. He doesn't play a very important role anyway, so, I'd imagine, killing him will make no difference.
