i fought the vampiress once, then she disapeared. where is she??? I came back later and waited and waited but she never showed. and how do you stop her from immobilizing you, its really annoying.

She's in the Slums district, after getting in there by giving password to door keeper.
You had best have some Blast Nova acrolls. When she appears, wait for her to come down to you at ground level, then blast away. NEVER try to knock her out of the sky, her dead body is likely to land on a roof and you're out of luck in that case. Quite often she disappears, so go on about your business and sooner or later she shows up again.

Hi,
I couldn't get her to stop putting the sleep spell on me, but when it happens, I just hit the "E" key, (for inventory/equipment menu), and wait for it to wear off. Nobody strikes you when the menu is up! Monsters are very polite and they will wait for you.
