Finished Neverwinter... SPOILER??

Post by poppydawg »

I have the Diamond Edition and I've Finished Neverwinter. I guess Shadows of Undertide is next. You can't continue to play the charactor from Neverwinter?? When I try entering Shadowtide it wants me to make a new toon.... All my work is useless????

That's because shadows of undrentide is a completely different campaign. The first campaign for NWN is its own story, whereas Shadows of Undrentide is another different campaign, besides you're supposed to start at level 1 in Shadows of Undrentide.

????? Really

So each one you have to make a NEW toon and start from scratch??? Then why do the call them Expansions if each is a NEW game.... All that work waisted, what's the point??

Is it the same for all the "expansions"???

Expansion doesn't necessarily have to be part of the campaign, they expanded on the feats, the rules, the classes and prestige classes.

Shadows of Undrentide is a campaign of it's own, Hordes of the underdark is a sequal to Shadows of Undrentide yet can also be played on its own.

Kingmaker.

THe three premium Mods that come in that are completely stand-alone. They have NOTHING to do with the OC, SoU, nor HotU.

You can use your Character from the NWN OC in them, true (And if you exported your Character, you also can use that character in SoU & HotU, despite them being seperate).

Also note: On the NWN Vault is a mod titled: The Fate of Neverwinter.

A good mod, that puts the phrase "Never Winter" back in Neverwinter.....

When you start a new game, you will get the option to use a new character or a pre-made character. Select a pre-made one and look down the list to find the character profile for your previous character and select that.
