Something is very wrong. I've played through the game several times now, and ever since I finished it the first time, lots of things are just never happening. I never get the harper quests (yes, I did return the poisoned man and do the bird quest), the little boy from the Umar Hills never shows up, and other quests triggered randomly or by time just never happen. What's going on?
You must have Jaheira in your party to do the Harper quest, and the little boy won't come running to you unless you have Minsc in your party. But, you can talk to the boy, anyway. He's in the Government District.
All right, thanks, that explains the little boy. But every time I've played through I've had Jaheira in my party. The first time through, the harper quests were activated correctly, but never since. I rescue the poisoned man and do the "rescue montaron" quest, and that's the last I ever see of the Harpers. What gives?
