Missing Edwin

Post by DRG »

I can't find Edwin. I've done Mae'Var's quest and now he's told me to go talk to Edwin on the third floor of his headquarters. I've been all over the building but there is no Edwin. Help!

Are you absolutely sure that you have been all over the place? He should be very easy to find - unless he for some obscure reason (bug) isn't there. He is standing almost in the middle of the largest room on the third floor next to a couple of beds and some chests. To the left on the screen is a hallway and six smaller rooms (IIRC). If you go outside the guildhall and take the stairs to the left of the guildhall you can enter the third floor from the outside via the top door.

Have you done anything that could prevent him from being there (a killing spree or some other irrational act)?

I've looked everywhere, he's just not there. I remember seeing home once before when I just wandered through the place before I talked to Mae'Var. I'm sure I didn't kill him though. Maybe just talking to him before the quest was given screwed things up.

You should be able to use the CLUAConsole to bring Edwin back into the game. Unfortunately I do not have the proper code to use but I am sure that someone else does.
Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a person does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses their intelligence.
