Temple bought potions (healing) resupply?

Post by SpitfireV »

I thought the Sword Coast suffered from an iron shortage, not a potion shortage. So far I used all the potions available in the temples in both FAI and Nashkel. Do the re-supply wagons ever arrive? This is starting to get aggravating since I like to carry 3-4 per person and rely on them during fights, only using healing spells afterwards.

Potions

No, just like the shops that don't readily resupply with enchanted arrows etc.
Besides is your cleric on strike or something and doesn't want to cast spells. Personally apart from the occational strength potion hardly use a potion. Far cheaper using spells!

I agree with all the above. However there are many potions available in chests etc. particularly in Durlag's Tower, but also in caves etc. You should also get bonus healing spells by completing chapters 1 and 2 even if you are not a cleric. If you export a character who already has these bonus spells and then import him at the beginning of the game, you can actually get even more than that if you are finding the game a bit too difficult. If you follow the advice of the previous posters however, you should have no need of doing that. It could be that you are getting too much damage by not detecting and disarming traps with your thief. A thief is just about indispensible if you don't have a healer in the party.
