Wings and regeneration

if trolls regenerate limbs like the troll cook in the Windspear dungon shouldn't the ring of regeneration, potion of regeneration or the ioun stone bring back those wings and stop the winging? or is that too logical

regeneration, just gives back HP it does not regenerate lost limbs and organs. Its coverd in the rules.
Trolls regenerate lost limbs but its because of their regenerate abilites.
