My familiar

I haven't been able to conjure a familiar!
I have a sorcerer, and she has a familiar scroll, but it gives me some crap about "only to be casted by protagonist"

HELP!!!!!

only your main character can cast find familiar.

i think thats really stupid, i mean about only having the main character being about to get a familar. i wouldnt mind if it was 1 familiar to a party, but having to be a mage to have one at all...

especially when an NPC can learn the spell, which takes up a slot, but can't cast it sucessfully.
