Post by superbob263 »

Has anyone else ever found and wild horses in the game.

I was just playing and I found some wild bay horses by in imperial city next to the bridge that always has a highway man on it so does anyone know were others are or if you can ride them?

The only house that didn't belong to anyone, was the Bay Horse at the Roxey Inn, north of the Imperial City. And yes, you can ride them, but you will get guards after u ;)

Are you sure because I found many of them they said wild bay horse and do not give the option to ride. you might be thinking of a horse that some impirial had left there.

Not so Wild Horsies

If you have the "Horse Armor" mod you can get a free "old nag" of a horse from the horse armor orc at the stables. When you talk to her about the free armor in the notice you have the option to ask her for the armor and a horse to go with it. Doesn't work if you already own a horse. Then there is always the Unicorn which you can ride bareback if you approach it correctly. Never saw a "wild" horse in the game but I'll start checking. Even if you take the horse of an Imperial Guard that's been killed by bandits or monsters I think you will eventually be arrested for stealing it.

Whether the Horses are wild or just fugitives running from the Horse-Eating Orc at the stables, I don't know. I found a Paint horse right beside the Waterfront gate in the Imperial City, and apparently it belonged to someone.

I saw the wild horses in the same place that you did. But there were two bays and two paints. (wishing for some kind of permanent 'tame animal' spell).

alot of times the horses aren't wild they are just abandoned.
i have seen horses outside caves, ruins, etc. If you inspect further you will find people or guards who own the horse inside.
