That's not a failed quest, just a scripted turn in the game's plot. Explore the game further and you should find out what Hakunin was reffering to when he mentioned "dragonflies" and "evil men crawling out of the beasts' bellies".
Spoiler
You should've figured out that Hakunin is actually reffering to the Enclave and their Vertibirds (there is one crashed in Klamath). As you progress through the game, you'll get a quest from the Brotherhood of Steel (San Francisco outpost) to explore an Enclave base called Navarro. You should understand mostly everything from that moment on.

So my quest continous, because I tried my previously savegame, and went straight to the arroya, with G.E.C.K and arrived 18 days before, still same, "all" dead, still don't know, how fast the G.E.C.K should return, so you can save your village. Or is' it allways that?

As Mr. Pastorius said, it's scripted event and part of the main plot.

The same question has been covered here before, just searching with word G.E.C.K turns out FAQ, which also mentions that it's scripted event...

Just a small hint for the future... ;) :)
