Alignment problem

Alright so I just got the game and I'm a little confused on alignment, and yes I have searched all five pages on "alignment". I've been doing evil things for most of the game

just passed arena and killed Whisper

. Now my problem is, when I'm naked my alignment is one block to the right, going towards scariness. When I wear my dark armor (dark chain gaunts, dark leather chest, dark leather leggings, dark chain boots) my alignment stays the same, but when I put on the dark chain helm it goes away all together (guessing this is neutral). What I'm wondering is if I'm doing something wrong or what, because +alignment armor will make my alignment increase right but I cant get my alignment to get left. Don't know if I'm just not being evil enough or what

welcome to the forums

when you wear bright armour you get extra good alighnment,and if you wear dark armour you get extra evil alighnment and if you wear neutral or no clothing at all you can see your true alighnment(unless your wearing tattoos,they afect alighnment too)
and if your not wearing tattoos,go kill some villagers and guards and youll be fully evil in no time
