Questions,Questions,Questions!

Post by Starion »

Hi all ya friendly (I hope!) forum folks,

I am introducing myself to this forum by asking a buncha noob questions!

1. Is the boost from the "Life Elixer" and the "Will Master Elixer" temporary or permanent? (a la the "Ages of..." potions)

2. How do I check the current armor level of my character?

3. Since the "pit boss" of the fist fighter club in Bowerstone Quay defeated me am I now forever outta luck on a rematch?

4. Is there some trick I am missing about waiting for time to pass? (in order to buy from merchants just after they get full stock in!)

Well, that's 'bout it! (for now at least, I KNOW I'll have more later!)

1. Elixirs are permanent.

2. It's been too long since I played, but I'm guessing it's somewhere in plain sight in the inventory panel.

3. I think you can try once per night (or maybe more often if you're quick).

4. You can sleep to make time pass. Some food can also change the time (golden carrots change it to daylight, for example).

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

OK! Thanx for the fast reply!

1. Cool, then I'll gulp those puppies down post haste!

2. If you're right then I guess I'd better go to my optometrist for a stronger prescription and then take another look at the inventory menu!

3. Thanx anyways but when I stated up the game after posting this thread I got the rematch! (kicked his butt good this time!) Maybe my breaking up a few barrels and stealing a few items let the big thug know I was'nt such a goodie-two-shoes after all!?

4. UM, where can I "sleep"? Does the light change from a gold. carrot actually count as time passing?

Well, thanx 'gain! (now all I need to do is call the tech. support # tommorrow to bitch about the damn disappearing text!)

You can sleep in any place that has a bed, especially at bars (but you will have to pay to use the bed). As for the golden carrot and the moonfish, they don't count the time. It will just straightaway change the time to somewhere around early morning for the golden carrot and early night for the moonfish (hope I got this correct).
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Go to the Inventory ---> Clothing section of the menu and it will show the total armour rating on the top.
