Can't find Vartugg or Big Bad Mog

Hello all, new to this game as well as this forum.

So, I finally got Vartuggs Eye, went to his fort and the guy behind the grill tells me Vartugg is not in. I've wandered around the Forbidden lands and throughout Skuldoon and can't find him. I did come across Maloke Brane who gave me the quest to find Big Bad Mog which I accepted 'cause I thought maybe I have to accomplish this in order to find Vartugg. Well, I can't find Mog either. I've traveled every corner of the Forbidden Lands (I think, except the Black Swamp, which I can't get in because I CAN'T FIND VARTUGG!!!!!!) and have seen no sign of Mog or his merry band.....HELP!

Searched through the forum and it looks like I need to get the relic from the vale of ruin before Vartugg will show. Is this correct? (lets see, have the Horn, the staff, and whatever the relic was in the Naga Temple tucked away in Talendor.)

Looks like Mog is a pain to find, at least for some. Will have to look into "Mystic Vision"

That's correct.

I usually found him in the southern part of the Forbidden Lands. I don't think he goes into the Black Swamp.
