When your weapon 'flourishes,' use the flourish attack on the enemy. Just make sure that the enemy's health is pretty low in order to do this. :)

Hmm.. Have you tried useing a bow on a unsuspected enemy? Like just aim for the head and Tada!. But i belive it will not work if they know you are there.

Well, since my question was prompted by my boast on a certain quest, and although I do havta use a ranged attack (at least to start the ball rolling!), the shoot (: p :mischief: :p swc,ha!)head that I need to behead is absolutely aware of me since he's eyeing me most diligently! So I will havta do my best to take his head melee style!

DES- WHAT IF I USE MY BERSERK (lev. 4) COMBINED WITH MY MULTI-STRIKE (lev. 4) AND MY 200+ DAM. SWORD (Sharp. & Penetrate Augs.)? WILL THOSE THREE GIVE ME A DECAP WITHOUT DOING A FLOURISH? (also- my physique is maxed out!)

Are you referring to the Bandit Ransom Quest in which you have to go kill the bandits and free the 1st hostage at fisher creek, then the next set of bandits at Witchwood Lake? If so, just shoot him in the face with an aarow, try to get alot of power behind it... The more power your aarow has, the more damage it does...

for some reason once you get your bow skill higher on the xbox you cant decapitate anyone with a bow anymore!
you can still do it on the pc though.

so if your playing xbox, shoot the bandit with a weak arrow to get him to come down to you(if you run up to him, highlight:
Spoiler
he'll kill the hostage and you'll fail the quest
)then turn berserk on and punch his head of,or an easier way, shoot lightning at him and he will be decapitated!

if your playing pc version, you can try any of the above or shoot an arrow at him.

;)

magic much?

You can also just use lightning. It will zap the enemiy pretty good, and usually their head will pop off.

No. No matter what you use (be it casting berserk and hitting the enemy), the decapitation won't occur. I've tried this quite a number of times, even though I wasn't thinking about decapitations at that time. Follow the advice given by the posters here as they know a lot more than me. ;)

P.S. Please, don't use caps the next time you write something. It isn't polite. :)

Des, I only use caps to emphasize!
How are they considered impolite?

(the problem with text only communication is that it precludes the use of vocal modulation to convey tone!)

Writing in caps will give the impression that you're shouting at someone. Hence the reason why it is quite impolite. If you want to emphasise something, bold or highlight the text. It's much better and more polite that way. :)

Seriously, lightning should do the trick. Everyone has the spell; it has great range, and even if it's still first level you can target the bandit and just lay it on him.

When the enemy is dazed e.g a swirl above there head hit with flourish to ensure decapitation with weapon.....a long combo of normal strikes stuns your target.....

Or a nice arrow to the head does the trick....

or a powerful lightning spell works every time....
When you stop learning, your DEAD!!!:mischief:
